Our Unique Personal Training Program

 

The Workouts:

Our personal training program is a completely unique and affordable approach to personal training. Each workout includes both strength and cardiovascular exercises to ensure an invigorating full body workout.  Whether your goal is to improve overall fitness, lose weight, improve your athletic performance, build muscle, and/or get that overall shredded look, our workouts will push and challenge you to reach your fitness goals.  Workouts are designed in alignment with NASM’s (National Academy of Sports Medicine) OPT (Optimal Performance Training) model of exercise progression.   Incorporating NASM’s OPT model allows us to use multiple types of training—flexibility, cardio respiratory, core, balance, reactive, speed, agility, quickness, and strength—into all workouts.  All workouts are pre-planned according to your fitness level.  Each time you arrive you will get a detailed print out with all your exercises, the number or sets, reps, and cardiovascular exercises.  All you need to do is set up and put away your equipment, count your repetitions, and the trainer will take care of the rest making sure you are following your workout with the correct form and intensity. There may be other people working out at the same time though you will most likely be doing different workouts.  We have numerous nationally certified personal trainers on staff who will lead you through your workouts.  You may have one trainer one day and a different one the following day.  Either way, you will get an invigorating workout thus leading you one day closer to your incredible transformation.

The Nutrition:

Your first visit will be a consultation so we can set you up with a customized nutrition program.  We will spend about 30-minutes setting up your program based on your specific nutrition habits and exercise experience. We will show you how to use your DotFIT Me Program, which includes online nutrition tracking, customized meal plans, tons of healthy recipes from registered dieticians, and supplement recommendations. You will even be able to create customized workouts that can be done at home or on vacation.  The nutrition component is ESSENTIAL especially if your goal is weight loss.

How do I book my appointments?

All you need to do is go to www.teamifit.com, click Personal Training, click our location TEAMiFIT Lifestyle Center, then request your appointment on the calendar.  Appointments can be requested for 30-60 minute periods of time.  Once you request your appointment, TEAMiFIT will send a confirmation with 24-48 hours.

Your first appointment will be 30-minutes and this is when we will set you up with your DotFIT Me Program and show you how to use it at home.  You will not be working out your first appointment.  Appointments can be scheduled 7 days in advance.  Always request a single appointment, NOT RECURRING appointments.

How do I cancel appointments?

Once you log into your profile, click My Info, Schedule, then cancel the appointments you are unable to attend.  You MUST cancel 24 hours before your scheduled appointment or you will be charged $20.  You can also cancel by calling us at (312) 204-7333.
