General Info: About TEAMiFIT and Our Facilities
How is TEAMiFIT different from other gyms and fitness places?
Here at TEAMiFIT we are more than just a swipe-your-card gym. We focus on our members and what they want and need to be successful with their goals. We form relationships with all of our members and value feedback immensely. We realize that staying active is a huge component to one’s happiness, so we want to take the stress out of your workouts! All of our programs, from circuit training to fitness classes to bootcamps to rowing, are designed for you to simply show up and Get Yo’ FIT On with us! Our instructors, trainers, and coaches give multiple options and modifications so you can choose the best exercise to meet your fitness level while knowing you are Getting Yo’ FIT On properly! You don’t have to worry about what you are going to do next … we’ve got it all planned for you!
What if I have not worked out in a year and am not in shape?
Join us anyway! Most of our classes are designed for ALL fitness levels. We give options for beginners to advanced levels in our classes. We encourage you to come, even if you have never worked out before. IMPORTANT: Please let your instructor or coach know when you arrive at the front desk if you have an injury or condition that needs special modifications.
Do I have to work out for a full hour?
That is completely up to you. You can work out for 30 minutes or a full hour. If we are not busy, you can stay as long as you’d like, though we do not recommend working out for more than 90 minutes. Even though we have options to keep you moving all day long, we do not want you to overexert yourself.
Are all of your lifestyle coaches certified?
OF COURSE AND MOST DEFINITELY! ALL of our lifestyle coaches are certified as personal trainers, fitness instructors, and/or yoga instructors AND are cream of the crop. They are trained to teach all fitness levels in order for you to succeed and be challenged in class. Our lifestyle coaches put a huge emphasis on proper form…safety first! Do you host private events?
Yes we do! We can accommodate small groups or large groups of 50+. Please call our Lifestyle Center @ (312) 204-7333 or email us at info@teamifit.com for rates and more information.
Facilities
Where is TEAMiFIT located?
TEAMiFIT is located at 676 N. LaSalle Blvd, Chicago, IL 60654. We are located at the corner of Huron and LaSalle Blvd. You can pay to park on Huron Street, and our buzzer is located alongside the glass door on the Huron St. side of the building.
Is there parking at TEAMiFIT?
There is usually plenty of meter parking available along Huron Street at most times during the day.
How do I get to TEAMiFIT via public transportation?
Train: Brown Line (Chicago Ave); Walk east to LaSalle then make a right. Walk south until you get to Huron St. Make a right on Huron and you will see our green banner on the southwest side of the street.
Bus: LaSalle #156 CTA Bus (drops off in front of our building on LaSalle)
Do you have showers and/or lockers?
Yes and Yes. We have men’s and women’s showers as well as a locker room. Please bring a lock to secure your belongings as TEAMiFIT is not responsible for any items lost or stolen. Your lock will be cut if you leave your belongings overnight.
Do you have shower or sweat towels?
We charge $1.00 to use our shower towels. We do not have sweat towels though we recommend you bring one to use during your workout.
Do I need to bring water or can I fill up my water bottle when I arrive?
We have a water filter where you can fill up your water bottle. If you forget to bring water, we sell bottles for $2.00.
Do you have treadmills and exercise machines?
We do not have treadmills or ellipticals, but we do have rowing machines for independent use as well as for use during classes! All of our programs are already planned for you before you arrive and may incorporate (but are not limited to) equipment such as weights, kettlebells, bands, benches, BOSU’s, boxing gear, agility & plyometric equipment, medicine balls, trampolines, suspension trainers, pull-up bars, and rowing machines. We have FUN options to get you fit and to continually challenge your individual fitness level.
Reservations and Scheduling
How early do I need to arrive?
Please arrive at least 5 minutes beforehand. If you are dropping in for a class for the first time, please arrive 10 minutes prior to your class.
Do I need to make a reservation for Fitness Classes, Circuit Training, Outdoor Bootcamps, Rowing, and/or Athlete?
Yes! We have options all day long to work out, but we want to make sure we do not book our programs over capacity. We STRONGLY encourage you to make a reservation beforehand to make sure you can Get Yo’ FIT On when you arrive. You CAN just show up, but if we are full then you will be unable to work out.
How do I make a reservation?
To register and reserve your space for a class, simply go to our website, www.teamifit.com, click Reservations, and reserve a space for the time and class or program of your choice. At this point you will be prompted to create a username, password, and profile.
Once you click “Make a Reservation,” click “Get Yo’ FIT On”. If you are a member, you will be signed into the class. If you do not have a membership or series, you will be prompted to make a payment. An email confirmation and reminder will be sent to you before your scheduled reservation.
How early in advance can I make a reservation?
Reservations open at 6AM 7 days in advance.
Why is there is no button to make a reservation?
Most likely you are looking too far in advance. As mentioned above, reservations open at 6AM 7 days in advance.
Can I make a reservation last minute?
As long as there is room, absolutely!
What if I need to cancel last minute?
If you are unable to attend, you MUST cancel your reservation to open spaces up to others. Reservations may be canceled online by clicking “My Info” then “My Schedule”, or by calling (312) 204-7333.
Will I be charged if I am unable to attend?
Non-members will be charged the cost of a drop-in class if reservations are not canceled. You will not be charged if you cancel your reservation.
I still have class cards, are they still valid?
We no longer accept any class cards. Everything is now done electronically.
What do I do if I try to make a reservation and it is full?
If reservations are full, you can still reserve a space and be put on a wait list after making your reservation. You will receive an email confirmation once a space opens. Otherwise, you can always give us a call to check your wait list status.
Memberships
What are the different membership and pricing options?
How do I know if TEAMiFIT is right for me?
Come in and try us out first! You can purchase a drop-in for $17, a day pass for $25, OR a week trial membership for $25. Find out what you like and the type of motivation that works for you before making the commitment!
Do you have month-to-month memberships?
Yes, we understand that not everyone can commit to a full year, so we do have monthly memberships with a minimum commitment of only two months. However, please be aware that this membership is still set up to autopay, so if you’d like to stop your membership, please notify us in writing at least 7 days before your next payment is due to provide time for processing.
Can I workout at TEAMiFIT before committing to a membership?
Yes, you can purchase a drop-in and use it towards any type of visit. A single drop-in is $17 and a series of 12 drop-ins is $168. You can also purchase a day pass for $25 or a week trial for $25. If you want to try us out for a little bit longer, we have single month memberships (not set up for autopay) for $125.
Is there a member referral program?
YES! For every member you refer you get $20 off your next month membership. No limit to the number of referrals you can bring in for the month.
If I am going on vacation or there is a reason I need to postpone my workout are there any options to put my membership on hold?
Yes, we understand that life happens so we offer a one-month minimum and a two-month maximum (in total) freeze to your membership when necessary. Just be sure to notify us at least 48 hours in advance so we can get the freeze into effect on the correct dates. You cannot freeze the TEAMiFIT Challenge Membership.
How do I know which classes I should take to meet my goals?
Ask us! Schedule a meeting with a TEAMiFIT coach and we’ll help you out! We’ll discuss your goals and set up a 4-week Fitness RX that best suits your goals AND schedule. All you need is a monthly membership and we’ll take care of your online reservations for the month. $65 for one 45-minute session and a month of scheduling.
What is the TEAMiFIT Lifestyle Challenge?
The TEAMiFIT lifestyle challenge is an ongoing program designed to help you meet your goals through teamwork and accountability. We have a new theme that starts every six weeks, and throughout each challenge period we’ll help each other achieve our goals in the following areas: fitness, nutrition, relationships, social life, work, and whatever else you want to work on! We hang anonymous goal sheets and have monthly meetings to help us stay accountable, so come on in and check it out!

Fitness Classes
Led by one of our talented instructors, these classes are taken in larger groups of up to 40 people. Our classes have multiple themes, including strength, cardio, conditioning, flexibility, specific muscle groups, and dance. Click here for more information on our fitness classes!

Circuit Training
Circuit Training is a self-guided workout available to all members. Come workout during ANY of the circuit training hours and follow our program of 15-20 full body circuits, 1-minute each. Repeat the circuits 2 times, go at your own pace, and follow up with stretching at the end. Choose from 2 different workouts each week. Circuit Training is a challenging workout and is great for increasing your cardiovascular and strength endurance. Click here to learn more about circuit training!
** By participating in Circuit Training, you agree to knowing and practicing proper form and modifications of each exercise. A TEAMiFIT coach WILL be present to answer any questions you might have, show you the exercises, and give you modifications if needed**
Is there always a coach present during Circuit Training?
Yes, there will always be a Coach around who you can ask questions to as far as form, the exercise itself, etc. Remember the coach is there for your questions, so take advantage of his/her expertise.

What are the Rowing Options?

Where are the bootcamp locations and is there parking available?

Are there bathrooms at the bootcamp locations?
TEAMiFIT does not have bathrooms specifically reserved or provided, but there may be a restroom nearby. We suggest using the facilities before you arrive.
Is there a place to put my personal belongings at the bootcamp locations?
There is no secure place to store your belongings, so we recommend bringing few to no personal items with you. The instructor cannot hold onto your belongings.
If the weather’s bad, will outdoor bootcamps be canceled?
In case of inclement weather (rain, lightning, etc), you will receive an email from TEAMiFIT up to 30 minutes before the start of the bootcamp letting you know whether it’s still on or not. If we cancel less than 30 minutes before the start of a bootcamp, we will still email you, but always please use your best discretion. If it is heavily raining, if it is thundering, or if there is a severe storm on its way, outdoor bootcamps will most likely be canceled.
Can I drop-in to an outdoor bootcamp?
Yes, drop-in prices apply towards outdoor bootcamps, classes, and circuit training. CLICK HERE purchase a drop-in.
