How do I redeem my GROUPON that I purchased on September 1, 2010?
Click HERE to redeem your Groupon. It will activate on your first visit and be good for 2 months of unlimited Fitness Classes, Open GYM Circuit Training, and Exercise Blasts. You MUST use it by February 1, 2011 otherwise it will no longer be valid. We will make sure your name is on our list when you arrive.
What is the address of the TEAMiFIT Lifestyle Center and where exactly are you located?
TEAMiFIT is located at 676 N. LaSalle Blvd, Chicago, IL 60654. We are located at the corner of Huron and LaSalle Blvd. You can pay to park on Huron Street, and our buzzer is located alongside the glass door on the Huron St. side of the building.
Is there parking at the TEAMiFIT Lifestyle Center?
There is usually plentiful meter parking available along Huron St at most times throughout the day.
How do I get to the TEAMiFIT Lifestyle Center taking public transportation?
Train: Brown Line (Chicago Ave); Walk east to LaSalle then make a right. Walk south until you get to Huron St. Make a right on Huron and you will see our green banner on the southwest side of the street.
Bus: LaSalle #156 CTA Bus (drops off in front of our building on LaSalle)
How early do I need to arrive before class begins?
Please arrive at least 5 minutes before class begins.
Do you have showers and/or lockers?
Yes and Yes. We have brand new men’s and women’s showers as well as a locker room. Please bring a lock to secure your belongings as TEAMiFIT is not responsible for any items lost or stolen. Your lock will be cut if you leave your belongings overnight.
Do you have shower or sweat towels?
We charge $1.00 to use our shower towels. We do not have sweat towels though we recommend you bring one to use during your workout.
Do I need to bring water or can I fill up my water bottle when I arrive?
We have a water filter where you can fill up your water bottle. If you forget to bring water, we sell bottles for $2.00.
Do you have treadmills and exercise machines?
We will have Concept 2 Rowers by October 2010, but we do not have treadmills and electric workout equipment. All of our programs are already planned for you before you arrive and may incorporate (but are not limited to) equipment such as weights, kettlebells, bands, benches, BOSU’s, boxing gear, agility & plyometric equipment, medicine balls, trampolines, TRX, pull-up bars, etc. We have FUN options to get you fit and to continually challenge your individual fitness level.
What if I have not worked out in a year and am not in shape?
Join us anyway! Most of our classes are designed for ALL fitness levels. We give options for beginners to advanced levels in our classes. We encourage you to come, even if you have never worked out before. IMPORTANT, please let your instructor or coach know WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT THE FRONT DESK if you have an injury that needs special modifications.
Do I need to make a reservation for Fitness Classes, Open GYM Circuit Training, and/or Exercise Blasts?
Yes! We have options all day long to work out, but we want to make sure we do not book our programs over capacity. We STRONGLY encourage you to make a reservation beforehand to make sure you can Get Yo’ FIT On when you arrive. You CAN just show up but if we are full then you will be unable to work out.
How do I make a reservation for a Class, Open GYM Circuit Training, and/or Exercise Blasts?
To register and reserve your space for a class, simply go to our website, www.teamifit.com, click “Schedule and Reservations,” and reserve a space for the time and class of your choice. At this point you will be prompted to create a username, password, and profile.
Once you click “Make a Reservation,” click “Get Yo’ FIT On”. If you are a member, you will be signed into the class. If you do not have a membership or series, you will be prompted to make a payment. An email confirmation and reminder will be sent to you before your scheduled reservation.
How early in advance can I make a reservation?
Reservations open at 6AM 7 days in advance.
Why can I reserve some Open GYM Circuit Training, Exercise Blast, and Cross Training reservations hourly and others within a few hour time block?
The hourly blocks are around our busier times when we need to make sure we are not over capacity. We still encourage you to make a reservation so we know to expect you during a given time frame.
If I book Open GYM Circuit Training at 6:30AM and cannot come until 7AM, is that okay?
Yes, that is fine. You probably want to also book yourself for the next time frame as well so you can get a full hour workout. You are also welcome to just stay 30-minutes and get a quick workout with one of our Exercise Blasts or 30-minute classes.
Do I have to work out for a full hour?
That is completely up to you. You can work out for 20 minutes or a full hour. If we are not busy, you can stay as long as you’d like, though we do not recommend working out for more than 90-minutes. Even though we have options to keep you moving all day long, we do not want you to overexert yourself.
Why is there is no button to make a reservation?
Most likely you are looking too far in advance. As mentioned above, reservations open at 6AM 7 days in advance.
Can I make a reservation last minute?
As long as there is room, absolutely!
What if I need to cancel last minute?
If you are unable to attend, you MUST cancel your reservation to open spaces up to others. Reservations may be canceled online by clicking “My Info” then “My Schedule”, or by calling (312) 204-7333.
Will I be charged if I am unable to attend?
Non-members will be charged the cost of a drop-in class if reservations are not canceled. You will not be charged if you cancel your reservation.
I still have class cards, are they still valid?
We no longer accept any class cards. Everything is now done electronically.
What do I do if I try to make a reservation and it is full?
If reservations are full, you can still reserve a space and be put on a wait list after making your reservation. You will receive an email confirmation once a space opens. Otherwise, you can always give us a call to check your wait list status.

How do I know which membership option is right for me?
Come in and try us out first! You can purchase a drop in to any of the following options: Open GYM Circuit Training, Cross Training, and/or Fitness Classes for only $15. Find out what you like and the type of motivation that works for you and then we can sign you up for a membership!
Can I workout at TEAMiFIT before committing to a membership?
Yes, you can purchase a drop-in and use it towards a fitness class, open gym circuit training, or cross training. A single drop-in is $15 and a series of 12 drop-ins is $120.
Do I have to commit to a year membership?
If you sign up for a membership, it will auto-pay each month until you want to cancel it. If you choose to cancel UNDER 12-months, you will only be charged a $25 termination fee. You MUST email info@teamifit.com AT LEAST 7 days before your auto-pay goes through if you want to terminate your membership.
Is there a member referral program?
YES! For every member you refer you get $10 off your next month membership. Limit 1 referral/month.
If I am going on vacation or there is a reason I need to postpone my workout is there any options to put my membership on hold?
Yes, we understand that life happens so we offer a 2 week minimum and a 2 month maximum freeze to your membership when necessary. Just be sure to notify us at least 48 hours in advance so we can get the freeze into effect on the correct dates.
What is Open Gym Circuit Training?
Open Gym Circuit Training is available to all members. Come workout during ANY of the open gym hours and follow our program of 15-20 full body circuits, 1-minute each. Repeat the circuits 2-3 times, go at your own pace, and follow up with stretching at the end. Choose from 2 different workouts each week. Open Gym is a challenging workout and is great for increasing your cardiovascular and strength endurance.
** By participating in Open Gym, you agree to knowing and practicing proper form and modifications of each exercise. A TEAMiFIT coach WILL be present to answer any questions you might have.**
Can I come in to Open Gym and do my own work out or do I have to follow your workouts?
It’s up to you. You can choose to do your own work out or you can choose to do the ones we have available.

Is Open Gym Circuit Training included in all memberships?
Yes, as long as you are comfortable practicing proper form and modifications, we want you to take advantage of Open Gym Circuit Training.
What is the Cross Training Membership?
What if you could have a different workout everyday with a different focus AND all you would have to do is go into autopilot to Get Yo’ FIT On?? Well, we’ve got it for you with our Cross Training program. All workouts are pre-planned, different, and focus on both strength and cardiovascular training. Some workout examples include Core & Legs, Boxing Burn, Upper Body Blast, Core Burn Out, etc. Furthermore, each workout has a different focus and is inspired by and named after one of our invigorating fitness classes. You can sign up online or just show up during any of the designated times. This membership includes Unlimited Open GYM Circuit Training and Exercise Blasts, as well as monthly fitness assessments to track cardiovascular, muscular, and overall progress.
** By participating in the Cross Training Program, you agree to knowing and practicing proper form and modifications of each exercise. A TEAMiFIT coach WILL be present to answer any questions you might have.**
Do I have to make a reservation for Cross Training or can I just show up?
We recommend everyone make a reservation. You can do this by clicking “Schedule and Reservations” then find the day, time, and class you want to attend then click “Make a Reservation”. If you are new to our website, you will have to first create a username and password to access these options.
Is Cross Training included in all memberships?
No, our Cross Training Program is only available for our Cross Training Members. You can purchase a drop-in class if you’d like to try a cross training workout.
What is the difference between Open GYM Circuit Training and Cross Training Workouts?
Open GYM Circuit Training is an incredible way to build strength and cardiovascular endurance that includes 15 different exercises that you do for 1 minute with a 25 second rest in between each exercise. The goal is to go through the Open GYM exercises 2-3 times. The exercises change weekly, and there are 2-4 different workouts to choose from depending on the day you come to Get Yo’ FIT On. If you want to burn a lot of calories and bump up your endurance, Open GYM Circuit Training is just for you. Since Open GYM is included in ALL memberships, we recommend everyone do it at least 1x/week.
Cross Training Workouts have a different focus each day and are a great mix of strength, cardio, and endurance training. Examples of our daily programs include Upper Body Burn Out, Lower Body Blast, Boxing Burn, Abs & Arms, and Cardio Blast. If you want to continually challenge your body with different exercises and track your monthly progress then our Cross Training program is the way to go.
There will always be a TEAMiFIT Coach available to answer any questions about Open GYM Circuit Training and/or Cross Training Workouts.
How is TEAMiFIT different from other gyms and fitness places?
Here at TEAMiFIT we are more than just a swipe-your-card gym. We focus on our members and what they want and need to be successful with their lifestyle goals. You’ll notice very quickly that we form relationships with all of our members and value everyone’s feedback. We realize that working out is a huge component to one’s happiness, and we want to take the thinking and stress out of your workouts! Therefore all of our programs are designed for you to show up and simply go on autopilot to Get Yo’ FIT On! Whether you do the fitness classes, open gym, or cross training, the workouts will challenge you, and our instructors are trained to modify the workouts for you based on your level of fitness. In a class format, the instructor will give Level 1-3+ options for many of the exercises so you can choose the best exercise to meet your fitness level. During Open Gym and Cross Training Hours TEAMiFIT coaches will give you modifications to make sure you Get Yo’ FIT On properly! You don’t have to worry about what you are going to do next…we’ve got it all planned for you!
Is there always a coach present during Open Gym Circuit Training, Exercise Blasts, and/or Cross Training?
Yes, there will always be a Coach around who you can ask questions to as far as form, the exercise itself, etc. Remember the Coach is there for your questions, so take advantage of his/her expertise.
Are all of your lifestyle coaches certified?
OF COURSE AND MOST DEFINITELY! ALL of our lifestyle coaches are certified as personal trainers, fitness instructors, and/or yoga instructors AND are cream of the crop. They are trained to teach all fitness levels in order for you to succeed and be challenged in class. Our lifestyle coaches put a huge emphasis on proper form…safety first!
