Benefits of Rowing
Why rowing? Of all of the cardio workouts available, why did we choose to add rowing to our ever-growing list of programs? Because rowing is one of the best full-body cardio workouts out there! Your arms, legs, back, chest, and abs are all in on the action with rowing, and it’s low-impact, so anyone can do it! Additionally, it’s great for aerobic fitness, burns tons of calories, and is beneficial to joint health. It’s the complete package, so try it out today!
Our Signature Rowing Class:
Core Burn: Get ready to rock your abs and core with a good mix of rowing and core strength and stability exercises. Tone and sculpt the midsection and blast away the calories with some fantastic cardio and get ready to show off that sweet six pack. Never rowed before, no problem. An instructor will be leading the class to show correct form and motivate you.

Netflix Rowing: Get Yo’ Row On while watching your favorite show(s) on Netflix! One of our trainers will set you up with a workout according to your goals or you can choose to row at your own pace. Prerequisite Notes: Self guided; experience with rowing recommended.
Rowing Racing: This fun workout is a virtual racing game that will have you competing against your fellow rowers. You can race as a team or by yourself while watching a big screen TV to track your race position. The first 500m of the workout will be a sprinting race and the remaining 5000m will be an endurance race against one another. Challenge yourself as you race with partners, with teams, or individually to bring out your inner competitor. Go at your own pace — all are encouraged to give this fun workout a try! Prerequisite Notes: Self guided; experience with rowing recommended.
Rowing @ the Movies: Join us during open rowing hours on Sundays. We’ll be playing a new movie every week, so join us for part or all of it! Get yo’ Sunday movie on while you get yo’ fit on with us! Movie will be posted on our TEAMiFIT Facebook fanpage each week. Prerequisite Notes: Self guided; experience with rowing recommended.
